SIG is led by seasoned Swiss and German gemmologists who have established and directed or serviced laboratories across six countries — from Switzerland and Hong Kong to New York, Sri Lanka, Paris, and Bangkok. Their combined expertise spans advanced analytical science, commercial strategy, and data-driven laboratory systems, built over decades of senior-level practice and near a million gemstones analysed.

The SIG Report
Every SIG Report provides a comprehensive gemstone assessment — including identification, origin determination, treatment analysis, and colour evaluation — reviewed and interpreted by senior SIG gemmologists and supported by SIG AI assistance.
Where determinable, each report includes full grading results, complete disclosure, high resolution imagery, and secure online verification with access to the official digital report with imaging.
